History of Learned Power

Learned Power was started by Rea.  She was a generous and kind person who wanted the opportunity to lead her own clan.  She had been in RJ Rebel Regime.  The RJ stood for Rea Jason.  They are friends outside of the game and decided to start their own clan together with Jason as the leader.  Rea decided she wanted the opportunity to run her own clan and she was a great leader.

The clan began with mostly town hall 7 and 8 players with one town hall 9 and a few town hall 6.  The clan was founded as a war clan which meant the focus was to do well in clan wars.  This meant that upgrades, troop donations, and strategy should be centered around the goal of helping the clan win wars.  The clan was successful winning the vast majority of the wars.

As the clan improved, Rea decided to make changes to the leadership.  Some co-leaders were demoted and new members were promoted.  John, Lud, Daniel, Lieke Gelen and Thor were all promoted around the same time.  The clan primarily attacked with dragons using the dragloon strategy at town hall 7 and 8. Daniel expanded into gowipe attacks as he experimented with different strategies.

Rea and Jason decided to reunite and merge Learned Power with RJ Rebel Regime.  Unfortunately, the merger did not go as smoothly as planned.  While the clans operated similarly, there were enough differences that the Learned Power members decided RJ Rebel Regime was not a good fit.

The merger dissolved with most of the former members returning to Learned Power.  After a few wars, Rea received a promotion at work and was finding it hard to make time for Clash.  Rea decided to leave the clan.  Lud and John shared leader status for several months passing it back and forth as time commitments allowed.

Rea started Learned Power 2 as a farming and casual war clan.  Thor joined to help her run the clan.  It also served as place where members could practice war attacks or learn new strategies.  Rea left LP2 with Thor becoming leader.  Rea spent time back in RJ Rebel Regime and can now be found in Skol!

The clan decided to increase the commitment to war and began doing three wars a week instead of two.  During this period it was not uncommon for the clan to have 20+ war win streaks.  The clan attempted a few arranged wars and attempted to do a scrimmage, but each time the match was missed.

Lud and John both took brakes from the clan at different times, but they remained the leaders of the clan for an extended period.  That came to an end when Lud needed to step back from being the leader and John was just returning to the clan.  Mac agreed to take on the leader duties and did a great job of enforcing the rules and encouraging great game play.  Learned Power won a great deal of wars overcoming extreme deficits in many wars.  Unfortunately, Mac had to leave Clash a few months after he took leadership of the clan.  During this period Noodless, Jan, Navytag, Shaun T, and Myke became co-leaders in the clan.

Today, Lud is the leader of the clan with John, Myke, Mimiboy, Noodless, and Archylles as co-leaders.  The clan reached level 10 with a large war celebration.  Members from Casimir Effect and Hounds Tooth coming over for the war celebration.

Learned Power is now officially a sister clan with Hounds Tooth.  We are also very friendly with Casimir Effect and have done some joint wars with all three clans.
